  What a great club!
  I first played this course a few months ago, i was welcomed to play in the Saturday afternoon Comp which was most enjoyable. I stayed for the after match presentations and was made feel very welcome, in fact the guys I played with refused to let me buy a round.
  I asked how many times I could play before it was required for me to join and was told the club is very flexible.
  Well I joined the club after my 3rd weekend!
  The members and staff/committee are extremely friendly and welcoming.
  Membership is very realistically priced, Bar and meal prices are very affordable also!
  I have seen the course improve week after week with hard work from the groundsmen and the dedicated member volunteers.
  It is a challenging long course and the slope rating of 110 is way out!
  Do yourself a favor and come and see for yourself!

  City of Swan have granted $800,000 for full reticulation Chequers Golf Club.
  Holes 2 and 11 are currently reticulated as are all greens and tee boxes.
  So much work has been done clearing out heavy scrub around the course also.
  This course will be amazing by next summer!!!!!!!!
